China day fourteen14 ! 12th Oct.

Today was such an adventure. We woke up pretty early this morning, had breakfast and then had a little debate over when our flight was.
We got slightly worried so we decided to go back home instead of staying another night. The ride was super inconvenient as always and I have come to a conclusion that during these two weeks, I have been sitting on a public transport for about two days, accumulated. :/
When we got home, it was about 12:30 and it was pretty coincidental that someone was turning 60 and was holding an event, a nice feast out. Heh.
So as we basically did nothing for an hour, dad asked if we had finished buying what we need to, and we obviously answered with a no. The chat went on for awhile before he suggested my sister and I bus down to en ping city by ourselves and we were up for a challenge, a little adventure.
We set out at 13:30. We took a motor bike from home to sa wu (it's actually spelt 'shahu', thought you would like to know), then waited about ten minutes for the bus to come. Took the bus which took an hour and a half and was dropped of at the bus station. From there my sister and I wandered for awhile looking for the street we always shopped at, and since we didn't know the name of the street or a shop there, we didn't know what to do, so we waved for a taxi, asked them to take us to the Main Street hoping we'd end up at the right location. And we did! We're so awesome. (;
So we shopped for while and by this time it was already 15:30 and we had to leave at 16:00 latest.
We again, took another taxi to take us to the bus station but instead of the bus stop, we made a sort of bargain like thing and was driven back to sa wu. Along the way it was scary. Cause the driver actually didn't know the way so he had to call for directions. We went down streets and roads I had never not had my sister ever seen before and man was it absolutely terrifying. Lol.
We got home about 17:00 and dinner was just beginning so everything was pretty a-okay after that. :3
Saw thunder look alike again today. Hehee. Thad bout it for today? Cool as.

China day thirteen13 ! 11th Oct.

We woke up at seven this morning, got ready and then left the hotel. We had breakfast in this really... Shabby shop. The food wasn't too bad but it wasn't the best either. =.=
After, we took a taxi (as always) and went all the way to the bus stop again. Okay, when I say bus stop, it's not those tiny ones on the road sides, I'm talking about this giant bus station where there's over 70 stations and each bus would take you to a different area / city in china. This time we took it to Tai Ping. Nope, not those small grocery stores, it's an actual city. It's the city where almost all clothes are imported from. :3 the ride took almost two hours but it was worth it. We arrived around 10:30am. The shops were so cute! OMgosh. I was totes in love. I wanted to stay there forever. No kidding. About a five to ten minute walk from the bus station, and after walking across a busy road, you end up facing this gigantic nine leveled building! It's a mall. I know. A m a z I n g ! The clothes, the shops, the people! It was all amazing. (: On one floor, there was probably over 100 stores. We even got lost a few times. Of course not all the floors were clothes, it was only floor one to floor five, six ish that was mainly clothes. The other floor were restaurants and whatnot.
Sadly, around 14:00 we had to leave. )': we found out there was no bus that took you straight back to en ping, so we had to take a bus back to the bus station and then take another bus back to en ping. A five hour bus ride. Fun. =.=
We got to a hotel in en ping and basically relaxed.
Ah, what a fun day. :D we bought so much clothes! And like, we used so much money. >< ugh.

Oh the moon was red. :D
That's it for now. Byebyeee.

China day twelve12 ! 10th Oct.

Sorry. Was traveling a bit today so I couldn't post before 17:00.

Today we went over to our moms home village which is closer to the Guangzhou airport and about two and a half hours away from my dads hometown. We travelled by bus to the bus station and then took a taxi to the village. When we lined up for the taxi, this very scary person was begging for money and it was sorta hard turning him down because... Well, not to be sad or anything, his face was... Mutilated and stuff. It was scary. ><
We met up with my aunty and cousins, our grandmom's younger sister and her son. (:
After we met up with my dads mate and had dinner. Booked a hotel room when dinner was over and that's everything summed up. :3

China day eleven11 ! 09th Oct.

Sorry guys. I remembered the timely zone thingy and it seems if I want to post on the right day, I've got to post before 19:00. Only thought of this now cause like, I'm blogging. Lol. ><
Anyways! Today is my grandmothers early birthday party! And well, it's quite the huge event. So many people came over, we had some home made breakfast and everyone came to eat and help out with preparations.
We did the traditional Chinese thing where we carry around food and we pray before all of our ancestors and whatnot. We set off fire crackers or whatever they're called after we prayed in one area and then we'd move to the next. Family relatives came over and we had some quality time together.
After, for lunch, we had 'Nai fun' cause its a special occasion. During this time, it's when we could finally relax and do whatever we wanted, so I ended up talking with family and kind of stayed in my room. I'm not the social person. Especially not in China. :/
About 16:00 dinner started. I went down stairs and we saw many people. Most were unfamiliar faces. =.= there were teen girls. Four of them. Yeah. They were pretty. But they were all younger than we. I was the oldest teen here. Sigh. So ooooooold. I sort of became their friend. Hehee. Anyways, for dinner, about fifty-two tables with ten seats each were set up outside for the three villages. We sung happy birthday in three diff languages and two different canton dialects. I saw this guy that looked like thunder / cheondung in some aspects and I was like, 'yuuush' but I couldn't talk to him cause family was around. Lol. I took a picture but it isn't too great. Hopefully you can tell? (;

That was basically today. :3 good good.

As I was walking home, I saw a dead dried up frog like thing. D:

China day ten10 ! 08th Oct.

Well, I would TRY post something long, but since nothing happened, I don't think I can. We went to sa wu and bought snacks and etc. :3
Tomorrow is my grandmothers celebration for her birthday! Yaaaay.

Oh, found out that because we've lost our grandfather, celebrating grandmothers 80th birthday with just her is 'taboo' so we're actually celebrating her 79th. Lol.
Annnnnnnnd, my grandmothers last name is weird. Ahahaa. It's like, Uum! Lawl.

That's it for now. Sorry. No pictures. I know. Boooooring.

China day nine09 ! 07th Oct.

Okay. Today I left my phone at home most of the day and I couldn't really take pictures. We really didn't do much today either. =.=
I played games with little kids again, saw some pretty good looking guys (; and it was someone's marriage today, so again we 'bai zou' lol.
It was raining today for first time ever since I've been here and it was pretty soothing. The rain isn't harsh sounding like in New Zealand. It's like spitting but constantly. I don't really know how to explain it.
Ah, I woke up today with the most OUTRAGES hair ever! I freaked myself out Bahahaa. It's quite the embarrassing picture, but I don't mind showing everyone. (; laugh, I dare you. XP
